Circumneutral Cliffs and Talus Ecological System

The Circumneutral Cliffs and Talus Ecological System in Harpers Ferry National Historical Park is found on steep, rocky slopes or cliffs overlooking the Potomac River. Soil can be sparse because of all the rock fragments and rock outcrops, but it is very fertile due to high levels of calcium.
